Essential Functions
- Ensures that referrals are processed and completed in a timely manner.
- Maintain ongoing tracking and appropriate documentation on referral and authorizations.
- Contact organizations and insurance companies to ensure prior authorization requirements are met.
- Ensure complete and accurate registration, including patient demographics and current insurance information.
- Works independently and manages work time and resources effectively
- Works effectively under pressure handling demands from multiple sources professionally and courteously.
- Exemplifies a team concept.
- Possesses good oral and written communication skills.
