Salary Range: $17.66 - $$25.10
- Referral Management:
- Receive, review, and process incoming referrals from external healthcare providers in a timely manner.
- Verify referral information for completeness and accuracy.
- Coordinate with patients and external providers to obtain necessary medical records and information.
- Maintains ongoing tracking and appropriate documentation on referral and authorizations.
- Communication:
- Facilitate effective communication between our clinic and external healthcare partners.
- Communicate referral status updates to patients, providers, and internal staff as needed.
- Address inquiries and provide information related to the referral process.
- Contacts organizations and insurance companies to ensure prior authorization requirements are met.
- Documentation and Record Keeping:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all referrals and related communications.
- Ensure compliance with privacy and confidentiality regulations in handling patient information.
- Ensure complete and accurate registration, including patient demographics and current insurance information.
- Collaboration:
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to streamline referral processes and improve overall efficiency.
- Work closely with the administrative and clinical teams to ensure a smooth transition for patients referred to our clinic.
- Exemplifies a team concept but can also work independently and manages work time and resources effectively.
- Works effectively under pressure handling demands from multiple sources professional and courteously.
- Follow-up and Reporting:
- Conduct follow-up activities to track the progress of referrals and address any issues that may arise.
- Generate reports on referral statistics and outcomes for review by management
