What are the responsibilities and job description for the Radiological Technologist/Lourdes West Pasco/ PRN position at Lourdes Health?
Applies principles of radiation protection. Provides patient services using Imaging modalities as prescribed by a physician. Performs diagnostic medical radiographic and other related imaging procedures, produces images for interpretation by a physician. Evaluates radiographs for technical quality and exercises professional judgment in the performance of procedures. Provides patient care essential to radiographic procedures.
Salary Range: $25.69 - $35.96
Essential Functions
- Perform Radiographic Procedures.
- Perform all paperwork associated with the Diagnostic Imaging department.
- Follow all radiology policies and procedures.
- Exemplify Team Dynamics.
- Demonstrate a knowledge and willingness to perform continuous Quality Improvement Functions.
- Maintain a high standard of excellence and professionalism in job responsibilities whether pleasant or unpleasant.
- Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the population and specific needs of patients served.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Associates Degree from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology preferred
- Preferred one year or more experience
- Registered Radiological Technologist (ARRT) or Registry eligible, Washington State Radiologic Technologist required
- ARRT Mammography Certification and/or Bone Density preferred
- Bilingual and/or English-Spanish speaking preferred. Ability to work with culturally diverse population
