The HR and Integrations Manager is a key member of the Company's leadership team and will help to oversee all aspects of human resources practices and processes. A major role for this position will be integrating all company departments. This is a go-to person for employee-related issues and one of the primary relationship builders within the organization. Duties will involve managing activities such as job design, department integration, employee relations, performance management, training & development and talent management. People are our most important asset and you’ll be the one to ensure we have a happy and productive workplace where everyone works to establish the company mission and objectives. Promoting corporate values and reinforcing a positive culture is a vital aspect of this key role.
Responsibilities
- Department Integration
Integrate all departments to find efficiencies between office, warehouses and stores.
· Recruitment and Selection:
Managing the hiring process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing with managers as needed, and assisting in making hiring decisions in conjunction with hiring managers.
- Onboarding and Orientation:
Developing and executing new employee onboarding programs to introduce company culture and policies.
- Employee Benefits Administration:
Assist in employee benefits programs like health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off, ensuring proper enrollment and communication.
- Performance Management:
Conducting performance reviews, assisting in setting employee goals, and providing feedback to managers and employees to improve overall performance.
- Employee Relations:
Addressing employee concerns, mediating disputes, and investigating complaints related to workplace issues like harassment or discrimination. Advising senior leadership of issues and working together for resolution. Mange daily operations of home office, including administrative tasks and scheduling.
- Training and Development:
Identifying training needs, designing and delivering training programs to enhance employee skills and career development.
- Compliance Management:
Ensuring adherence to all applicable employment laws and regulations, including maintaining employee records and conducting compliance audits.
- Policy Development:
Creating and updating company policies related to employment practices, such as leave policies, disciplinary procedures, and employee conduct guidelines.
- Compensation Management:
Analyzing market trends to determine competitive compensation packages, including salary adjustments and bonus programs as directed by ownership and senior leadership.
- Strategic Planning:
Collaborating with senior management to align HR strategies with overall business goals and objectives.
Culture:
BE the culture champion in the office as well as with remote locations. Develop plans and protocol to improve and foster positive culture. Nurture a positive working environment. Manage daily operations of home office, including administrative tasks and scheduling.
Skills
· Proven working experience as HR generalist or People manager
· People oriented and results oriented
· Knowledge of HR systems and databases
· Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills
· Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills
· Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
· Assess and integrate efficiencies through all company departments
· In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices
· Degree and/or certifications in Human Resources or related field
