What are the responsibilities and job description for the Chemical Packaging Tech position at LOVE HEALTH L.L.C.?
Responsibilities:
To stage, fill (manually or semi-automatically), cap, label, and overpack liquid, powder, and hyophilized products per approved packing specifications with utilizing all required safety equipment. Complete appropriate packaging documentation per ISO procedures and deliver products to inventory.
- Fill, cap, and label chemical products.
- Follow all quality and safety procedures.
- Support quality systems.
- Trains others and works in a team setting.
Work experience/skills:
- Good time management and organizational skills
- Standing for extended periods of time and repetitive movements
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs with lifting equipment.
- Ability to see close and long distance
- Required to wear air helmet, mask, safety shoes, apron rubber and tyvek suits, protective gloves and safety glasses/goggles while performing in this position
Education:
- GED or High School Diploma
- Temp to perm
- 5-6 years in chemical or packaging environment
- mixing, labeling, working chemicals
- Must be good/understand basic math
- Basic data entry
- Basic computer skills and literacy
- Willingness to learn
- Good to have
- Previous SAP experience / familiarity
- Previous ISO /pharmacy/ biotech experience
- interviews will be conducted onsite interviews
- Physical and respirator fit required
- *****Must be clean shaved daily
Job Type: Contract
Pay: Up to $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
