What are the responsibilities and job description for the Chemical Packaging Tech position at LOVE HEALTH L.L.C.?
Note: This is NOT a warehouse position. Will be working with CIP 100 and Citric Acid.
Description: Manufacture products according to established protocols and perform operations in support of the group, department and company.
Essential Job Functions:
- Operate processing equipment and packaging powders
- Weigh powders for liquid manufacturing team
- Assist powder formulation team as needed
- CIP (clean in place) equipment
- Kaps All Torquer
- Label line
- Perform production operations
- Routine cleaning of rooms
- Monthly pheonlic cleaning of rooms
- Waste disposal
- Manual cleaning of small parts
- Pulling bottles from inventory
- Hand torque and torque testing
- Application of pinch clamps
- Packaging of bags/bottles
- Communicate and document the status of processes, products, and equipment.
- Communicate the status of production operations/equipment and bring deviations to the attention of the supervisor.
- Ensure all applicable log books have been filled out completely as required by current procedures
- Perform operations in compliance with rules and in a safe, orderly manner.
- Follow production procedures and safety policies at all time.
- Use, clean, and store all personal protective gear appropriately
- Label all in-process equipment and containers properly.
- Take the necessary action to resolve any unsafe conditions.
- Participate in required safety and quality training and other related activities.
- Maintain good housekeeping in manufacturing and working areas
Education: High School Diploma Or Equivalent

Additional local needs:
- Production environment.
- Require occasional lifting and pushing of up to 50 pounds.
- May require shift work, including 8/10/12 hour day/night schedules working during various days of the week
- Must be able to perform tasks while wearing personal protective equipment, including respirators, for an extended time.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: Up to $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
