What are the responsibilities and job description for the Staffing Coordinator/Recruiter position at Love Peace & Harmony Homecare?
-Scheduling/ Staffing- Staffing clients for services authorized by the state. This includes making sure visits are covered and clients do not go without services. (this included but not limited to staffing call outs, or last minute requests) WE DO NOT MISS SHIFTS! If you are unable to staff, you may have to go cover visit to ensure client does not go without.
-Insurance Portal Maintenance- Monitor each MCO insurance portal daily for caregiver clock in/outs a timely manner. This includes but not limited to, ensuring all caregivers clock in and out for every shift. Putting staff in visits each week, or as schedules change. Deviating visits upon client requested. ( WE MUST and WILL Maintain 90% compliance in this area.)
-Recruiting- Recruit and hire new caregivers. This includes but is not limited to, interviewing potential caregivers, orientation and training.
-Payroll- You are responsible for making sure all hours are recorded and timesheets and other documents are collected and sent to Director.
- Growth- Responsible for growing your department.
- Follow State and MCO Guidelines

Relationship Building- Build relationships with caregivers, clients, and MCO contacts. This is very crucial and non-negotiable! Relationships and communication are the key to a good working relationship!
Office Duties- Day to Day office duties as listed above and any others that may be assigned from the Director.
Requirements:
- 1-3 weeks training
- Driver License with Insurance (non-negotiable)
- Pass a background check and maintain a clear background while employed
- Have reliable transportation
-Must have some kind of management/ supervisory experience!
- Must have caregiver experience ( EX: Personal Care, Hoyer Lift, etc.)
- Computer skills. Must be able to navigate a computer and communicate and type clearly and accurate.
- Must be self-motivated and be able to work independently without being micromanaged.
- Must be able to work in fast paced environment and be able to adapt to changes that may come.
- Must be able to delegate tasks and complete task with accuracy.
- Must be honest. (We will find out....we always find out)
- Must be able to accept responsibility for mistakes, learn from them, and move forward.
- Must be able to accept corrective criticism.
- Must be able to be ON CALL
First round Interview will be via ZOOM
The Second round will be an in person interview.
Upon hire, employee is required to complete 1-3 weeks of training, and after 90 days of employment probation period starts.
