Duties
- Assist in the planning and implementation of engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
- Support classroom management by maintaining a safe and orderly environment conducive to learning.
- Provide care for toddlers and preschool-aged children, ensuring their emotional and physical well-being.
- Facilitate activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development among students.
- Collaborate with lead teachers in developing curriculum materials tailored to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to lead teachers regarding individual student needs.
- Engage with parents and guardians to discuss student progress and address any concerns.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge of childhood development.
Skills
- Experience in toddler care and preschool settings is highly desirable.
- Strong classroom management abilities to create an effective learning environment.
- Knowledge of curriculum development principles to support educational objectives.
- Proficiency in teaching basic math concepts appropriate for young learners.
- Understanding of childhood development theories and practices.
- Experience working with children on the autism spectrum is a plus.
