BASIC PURPOSE: The Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Analyst I is responsible for assisting with documentation and re-engineering of legacy processes using robotic process automation. This role supports and ensures the identification and implementation of cost-effective robotics automation solutions by coordinating detailed technical requirements, design, and integration with other appropriate technologies, serving as a liaison between the technical team and the business.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Identify, analyze and gather requirements for business automation needs
Participate in a series of initial training courses to learn basic functions of UiPath
Document as-is and to-be processes, data and systems utilizing appropriate diagramming and documentation methodologies, to support automation workflows built within Love’s’ RPA platform
Identify process gaps or exceptions and provides recommendations to reengineer processes prior to automation
Meet daily with the RPA team to provide progress updates and assist other team members with clearing roadblocks
Collaborate with RPA developers to ensure customers' requirements are accurately captured for automation projects
Clearly communicate work status to business leads, manager, and other stakeholders
Collaborate with other IT and business resources to understand issues, plan work and deliver solutions
Maintain documentation according to firm standards, best practices and standard operating procedures
Provide production support for existing RPA processes as needed
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in MIS, CS, Business, or related field required
Preferred Experience:
Previous experience in software support, business analysis, QA, or project management
Previous experience with robotic process automation software such as UiPath or Power Automate
Previous experience working within the Agile/Scrum methodology
SKILLS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Strong analytical, oral and written communication skills
Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and general computer knowledge
Ability to manage numerous competing demands in a high-energy, fast paced environment
Willingness to learn new robotic process automation tools and techniques
Preferred Skills:
Understanding of object-oriented design principles
Ability to work independently on complex development objects and process documentation
Ability to build relationships to lead and deliver improvement projects, as well as challenge and support colleagues to improve performance
Typical Physical Demands:
Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping
Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds
Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator
Requires normal range of hearing and vision
