Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Construction Estimator at Loveland Excavating and Paving, Inc. The Construction Estimator will be responsible for tasks such as construction estimating, quantity take-offs, cost management, communication, and budgeting. This role is located in Fairfield, OH.
Candidates should have prior experience in Site, Concrete and Asphalt industry with knowledge and skills in the following areas:
- Review project plans, specifications, and contract documents to understand project requirements thoroughly.
- Possess the ability to read, understand, and interpret contract documents, drawing specifications, scope of work documents, and project schedules.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for the estimation process.
- Prepare comprehensive bid proposals and ensure they meet client specifications and requirements.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, materials, and pricing to enhance competitiveness.
- Ensure contract terms and conditions align with the bid proposal and project requirements.
- Assist in cost-saving initiatives to enhance project profitability.
- Collaborate with the project management team to transition successful bids into actionable projects.
- Perform additional tasks and assignments as necessary to meet deadlines or at management’s discretion.

Education: High school or equivalent (Required) / bachelor's in construction management a plus
Experience: Estimating experience: 2 years
