Job Description
The Accounting Supervisor's responsibilities include performing or supervising the following:
- Ensure accurate classification of transactions in the general ledger
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations (general ledger, A/R, A/P, inventory, job cost)
- Prepare monthly financial statements along with supporting reports and perform analytical reviews
- Prepare and review reconciliations of various general ledger accounts promptly
- Assist in annual pre-qualification applications
- Handle monthly and quarterly tax reporting (sales/use tax, fuel tax)
- Support management with recurring and ad hoc analyses
- Prepare annual budget
- Research and resolve financial transaction queries from management
- Provide leadership during company audits
- Oversee a staff of three professionals including Human Resources
- Work closely with outside advisors including banking, insurance, legal, and bonding companies
- Direct the Company financing activities with banks and trade lenders and manage the global debt schedule
- Cash flow management
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or a related field
Minimum of 5-7 years relevant accounting experience. Construction experience preferred
Proficiency in monthly account reconciliations
Strong knowledge of GAAP
Experience with annual external audits
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
Familiarity with enterprise resource planning systems
Ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively
Capacity to prioritize workload and handle multiple tasks efficiently
Experience with Foundations accounting software a plus.

Salary : $115,000 - $135,000
