Pay: Daily Rate, $150-$170 dependant on experience

Description: LSC Assistant Women’s FIS Alpine Race Coach/Equipment Manager
Loveland Ski Club (CO) is seeking a seasonal Assistant Women’s Alpine FIS Race Coach/Equipment Technician. This position will begin immediately and run through mid-April, 2025, with the opportunity to extend based on Loveland Ski Club needs and job performance. This position will work for and in close conjunction with and report directly to Loveland’s Head Women’s FIS Coach to ensure that both on-hill coaching, dryland training, travel and equipment needs are met. The position will primarily work with the FIS Women, but will also work with the FIS Men as needed.
Report directly to LSC’s Head Women’s FIS Coach with the overall job responsibility of assisting LSC’s Head Women’s FIS Coach in achieving the success of all LSC Women’s FIS Alpine Rave athletes.
- On-hill training assignments include assisting with course setting, video, timing, and coaching fundamental skiing and race tactics.
- Race assignments include assisting with race scheduling and planning team travel; traveling to races and supporting the athletes at races.
- Dryland assignments include assisting with dryland training programs and attending and conducting dryland training sessions.
- Equipment Manager assignments include assisting with ski tuning and maintenance, and equipment procurement and modifications.
- Assisting LSC’s Head Women’s Coach and LSC’s Head Men’s FIS Coach, as needed, in any aspects of LSC’s FIS Operations (e.g. B-Net, gate repair, etc.)
Qualifications
- Previous racing experience, experience at the FIS level is a plus
- Previous coaching experience is a plus
- Previous ski tuning and equipment modification experience is a plus.
- Ability to lift and/or carry 40-50 pounds at a time (B-Net rolls, venue equipment, etc.)
- USS Coaching License & Requisite SafeSport Certification
- Valid Driver’s License
- Background check
