Job Title: Venue & Competitions Crew Member

Pay: $20-25/hour dependent on experience

Time Commitment: Seasonal Part-time, 30 hours per week

Winter Seasonal: October 2024 - June 2025

Reports to: Head Programs Director & Operations Manager

Job Summary: Ensure safe training and race venues through adequate protection with B-net, race equipment, etc.

Qualifications: Strong skiing ability required. Previous ski racing experience preferred. Ability to lift and/or carry 40-50 pounds at a time ( B-Net rolls, venue equipment, etc.).

Essential Functions:

• Assist Operations Manager in the safe execution of various training venues
• Ensure B-Net is safely set to ensure the safety of athletes
• Help coaches as needed with course setting and maintenance
• Assist in various capacities at races hosted by Loveland Ski Club
• Assist with Facility Maintenance & Operations

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: US Ski & Snowboard Official license desirable. Maintain knowledge on current rules and regulations as they pertain to US Ski & Snowboard and FIS competitions. Must be able to carry 50 pounds on skis.

Work Environment:

• Long hours in the outdoors during all weather conditions
• Weekend work required
