What are the responsibilities and job description for the Paralegal position at Lovell, Isern & Farabough, LLP?
Lovell, Isern & Farabough, LLP is seeking a full-time litigation paralegal to join our team.
Responsibilities will include:
- Communication with courts, clients, and other attorneys to obtain and transmit information and documents.
- Data collection and research for client matters (obtaining documents, records, public information, etc.).
- Drafting, revising, and editing correspondence, pleadings and discovery, and relatedly collecting and analyzing information.
- Scheduling attorney deadlines, meetings, hearings, and trials.
- Internal filing in client matters.
- Electronic and mail filing for client cases.
- Maintaining client confidence by keeping client/attorney information confidential.
Qualified applicants should have knowledge of Outlook, MS Office Suite (Word, Xcel), Adobe Acrobat, and other office software; intuitive familiarity with online data systems, apps, and software; strong detail orientation; strong deadline orientation and time management skills; the ability to prioritize and multitask; excellent written and verbal communication skills; detail oriented; strong organizational skills; respect for confidentiality and discretion.
Background checks may be conducted. Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED.
