Job Summary
The Truck Care Customer Service Associate will provide excellent customer service while operating the cash registers, inputting and verifying service orders, stocking merchandise, and light housekeeping duties. This role performs various daily customer services tasks by operating the cash register and assisting customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a cash register and maintain an accurate and organized drawer
- Ability to communicate with fleet maintenance departments to obtain work authorizations and/or purchase orders
- Answer phones promptly and address customer needs quickly using proper phone etiquette
- Interface with multiple electronic platforms to ensure clear and concise communication
- Stock and face merchandise in customer area
- Perform weekly and monthly projects
This position requires 6 months retail and cash handling experience, as well as preferred trucking industry experience. The employee may be exposed to outdoor elements in all seasons, and occasionally to fumes and particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration.
