Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Diesel Technician to join our team at Love's Travel Stops and Country Stores. As a Diesel Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and satisfaction of our customers by performing routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues with diesel engines, including wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components.
- Assist customers with roadside services and provide preventative maintenance services to prevent future issues.
- Work in close quarters and move/lift up to 75 pounds as needed.
- Comply with company safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night shifts as needed.
