About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Diesel Technician to join our team at Love's Travel Stops and Country Stores. As a Diesel Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing light mechanical issues, providing preventative maintenance services, and assisting customers with roadside services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues including wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components.
- Provide preventative maintenance services to ensure vehicles are in good working condition.
- Assist customers with roadside services, ensuring their safety and satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to company safety policies and procedures.
Requirements:
To be successful as a Diesel Technician, you will need:
- A strong understanding of diesel engines and mechanical systems.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- The ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in close quarters.
