What are the responsibilities and job description for the Heavy Duty Technician position at Loves Travel Stops & Country Store?
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues including wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components.
- Provide roadside assistance to customers.
- Conduct preventative maintenance services to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
- Work in close quarters lifting 75 pounds and ability to work in various temperatures.
- Ensure customer safety and satisfaction by complying with company safety policies and procedures.
- Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
- Obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Loves).
