Children: GIRL; 9.5 YEARS OLD, AND BOY; 5.5 YEARS OLD
Compensation: $24 - $28 DOE
Schedule: MONDAY - FRIDAY; 8 AM - 5 PM
ABOUT THE FAMILY: Brand new FT summer position in Edina with two school agers. The family enjoys spending lots of time outside and staying active by going to parks, biking, and swimming. The exact hours are negotiable, and an occasional evening/weekend/date night would be a plus. There are no pets in the home. Covid vaccination is not required.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- General child care
- Transporting children to and from activities
- Preparing and feeding meals and snacks
- Child-related clean-up
- Come up with activities for the children
- Meal planning for the children
- Children's laundry when requested
- Taking the children to the pool and swimming with them
REQUIREMENTS:
- Be patient and calm
- Having experience with ADHD/neurodivergent kids is ideal
- Have childcare experience and references
- Current CPR certification or willing to become certified
- Comfortable swimming with the children
- Have a clean driving record and a safe car
- Must be reliable, trustworthy, and have a positive attitude
- Creative and able to come up with activities
- Flexible with children's various needs and moods
