Qualifications: Must have a high school diploma or GED with at least 2 years of medical records experience or clerical experience in the medical field.
Job duties include but are not limited to:
• Maintain information received via fax machine numerous times during the day.
• Receive and scan incoming medical data into patient electronic record as directed by EMR (Electronic Medical Record) protocols.
• Print record requests and mail or ready the for pickup
• Copy medical records requests and disseminate accordingly, including providing a bill to the Office Manager for associated charges.
• Maintain work-list on a daily basis.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by your supervisor
***Salary scales are a range of pay and offers are made to applicants based upon the requirements of the particular position. Applicants with “previous like skills” may not be given the same weight and consideration as “previous specific same skills”: i.e., For a Medical Receptionist position, “Previous clerical skills” may not be preferred over “Previous Medical Clerical Skills”.
