What are the responsibilities and job description for the Estimator Project Manager position at Low Temp Industries Inc?
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- LTI’s main internal contact with Sales Representative Groups in a region on projects from concept to finished product.
- Provide communication on the project with Sales Representative Groups through the life cycle of an order (quote, drawings)
- The communication will involve the Sales Representative Groups, and/or consultants in the following areas:
- Quote Requests
- Collection of all information to produce an accurate and timely quote.
- Production and questions regarding a preliminary drawing, if needed
- Production and questions regarding drawing approval
- Initiating the production drawing upon a receipt of a PO
- Receiving of an approved drawing
- Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, and work procedures.
- Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, statues, and codes.
- Conform to all safety rules.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
- A minimum of five years of experience in the food equipment industry, including a minimum of five years of estimating and project management experience is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal communication & organizational skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and understand the different types of materials.
- Working knowledge of quoting software and ERP systems
- Proficient in MSOffice
- Initiative-taking collaborator with the ability to multi-task
- Positive, can-do attitude
