What are the responsibilities and job description for the Optometric/Ophthalmic Technician position at Lowcountry Eye Specialists?
Lowcountry Eye Specialists, the privately owned office of Dr. Jay Thompson, Dr. Tom Mather, and Dr. Phelan Piehota is now accepting resumes for optometric and ophthalmic technicians.
We are looking for top performers who take pride in the quality of their work and have a proven track record for excellence. Candidates must be team players, self-directed learners, reliable, positive, and organized.
Preferably experienced in all clinical areas including manual refraction, applanation, pachymetry, fundus photography, visual fields, OCT, IOL master and Lenstar but we are open to medical only experience and willing to train for the right candidate.
Candidates must also possess excellent computer and communication skills. Understanding of MIPS, OSHA, and HIPAA requirements along with experience in electronic medical records is preferred.
