As the Market Delivery Team Lead, you will be among the first to shape and evolve a new essential on-site position at our expanding Cross-Dock Terminal (XDT) location.
You will train Lowe's associates at our Cross-Dock Terminals (XDT) on new and current facility processes, setting the standard for our location's efficiency and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Train Lowe's associates on new and current facility processes in the Cross-Dock Terminal (XDT).
- Model, communicate, and reinforce Lowe's Core Behaviors and SMART customer service expectations.
- Monitor and drive Market Delivery Associates to achieve key operational performance metrics.
- Provide tools, resources, and knowledge of systems and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) where appropriate.
- Make confident decisions, escalating issues to leadership when necessary.
- Identify and communicate barriers to operational processes or customer experience, implementing solutions as needed.
- Build and maintain collaborative relationships with other teams and leaders.
- Provide real-time training and feedback to Market Delivery Associates, including responsibility for onboarding and overseeing the cross-training program.
- Support inventory management in the Cross-Dock Terminal (XDT) and provide feedback on shortages/overages.
- Ensure safety and supervise, when necessary, providing direction towards Cross-Dock Terminal (XDT) performance in the absence of Market Delivery Supervisors.
- Serve as a point of contact for warehousing and delivery teams on resolution of customer issues, escalating issues if necessary.
- Assist Market Delivery Supervisors (MDS/Coaches) with daily administration, task delegation, and managing general functions of the Cross-Dock Terminal (XDT).
- Maintain a safe and secure work environment by conducting daily safety reviews, noting hazards, keeping areas clean and organized, and monitoring for potential theft or security risks.
