About the Role
Lowell Catholic is seeking a dedicated and visionary Assistant Principal for Grades 7-12 to join our leadership team. This individual will play a key role in fostering a positive and inclusive school culture, supporting faculty development, and ensuring student success. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative leader who is committed to upholding the school’s mission while promoting excellence in teaching and learning.
Responsibilities
Support and oversee the academic, behavioral, and social-emotional well-being of students in Grades 7-12.
Collaborate with faculty to enhance instructional practices, emphasizing engaging and student-centered learning strategies.
Provide leadership in curriculum development, teacher mentoring, and professional growth initiatives.
Partner with the Principal to implement school policies and initiatives that align with the school’s mission and strategic goals.
Foster strong relationships with students, families, faculty, and staff to maintain a supportive and respectful school environment.
Assist in the coordination of student life activities, disciplinary processes, and school-wide initiatives.
Utilize data-driven decision-making to enhance student learning outcomes and faculty effectiveness.
Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership, Administration, or a related field (preferred).
MA DESE certification in Administration (or eligibility for certification).
Proven experience in a leadership role within a middle or high school setting.
Strong knowledge of best practices in instruction, assessment, and student support.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
