Position Summary:
Lowell Catholic is seeking a dynamic, full-time Learning Integration Specialist to support student learning and teacher collaboration in grades 7-12. This role plays a critical part in the coordination and delivery of academic support services to ensure all students have access to a meaningful and successful educational experience.
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide direct instruction in academic skills classes for students in grades 7-9 focused on executive functioning, organization, study skills, and self-advocacy.
Write, implement, and manage campus accommodation plans for eligible students.
Collaborate with classroom teachers to support the implementation of accommodations and modifications within the general education setting.
Provide push-in and pull-out academic support based on individual student needs and service plans.
Serve as liaison to Lowell Public Schools for Proportionate Share Services, including coordinating service delivery and communication with providers.
Partner with sending districts for annual reviews, re-evaluations, and student transitions.
Support families in navigating the process of securing evaluations, accessing services, and understanding their child's learning profile.
Collaborate with the Student Support Team, Guidance Counselors, and Administrators to monitor student progress and respond to emerging needs.
Collaborate with counselors to track students who are struggling academically
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree in Special Education, Educational Support Services, or related field preferred.
Experience working with students with diverse learning needs in grades 7-12.
Strong knowledge of accommodation and modification strategies within inclusive classrooms.
