Join the Lower Colorado River Authority (LCRA) as a Planning Analyst / Planning Specialist, where your work will directly support LCRA's mission to enhance the quality of life for the Texans we serve through water stewardship, energy, and community service. In this role, you will provide essential non-engineering coordination and support for the Transmission Planning department, working closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) to streamline processes and facilitate communication.

By ensuring the efficient management of interconnection projects and fostering collaboration across stakeholders, you will play a pivotal role in supporting LCRA's mission and long-term goals.
You will be trusted to :
- Oversee the intake process for generation and load interconnection requests, providing end-to-end support to ensure timely and accurate completion.
- Monitor the request queue to track new entries and identify status updates.
- Compile, validate, and organize required documentation for each request.
- Schedule and facilitate kick-off meetings with stakeholders to launch new interconnection projects.
- Maintain and update internal planning databases, ensuring data accuracy and accessibility for interconnection requests.
- Assist the Transmission and Interconnection Services (TIS) Manager in contract development, including gathering required documentation, reviewing terms, and ensuring compliance.
- Support billing processes, track expenses, and perform accounting due diligence to verify accuracy.
- Act as a liaison between internal staff, consultants, ERCOT, developers, and other stakeholders to facilitate information exchange regarding interconnection projects.
- Support effective project communication, helping manage deadlines and coordinating updates between parties to maintain alignment.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the manager to support the department's operational needs.
