At a Glance! Lower Columbia College is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable IT System Administrator to join our dynamic Information Technology (IT) team! Our IT team is a diverse group of professionals with a range of backgrounds, all working together to support the college’s mission and vision by providing secure and efficient IT services across campus.We are looking for someone with strong troubleshooting and customer service skills and an understanding of IT infrastructure and operating systems. The System Administrator must excel in collaboration, communication, and have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. In this position, you will assist in maintaining, modifying, upgrading, testing, and deploying both physical and virtualized server infrastructure to ensure system reliability, continuity, and resilience for critical business applications.Additionally, this role will support the planning, development, implementation, troubleshooting, and documentation of solutions for databases, data acquisition, storage, and retrieval.
