Work Study - Maintenance Assistant

Campus Services is seeking a work study eligible student to work as a Maintenance Assistant.

This position has flexible hours (evening and weekend work available). Must be able to lift 30lbs. Work boots required.

Note: This position is limited to 19 hours per week and accrues 1 hour of non-compensable sick leave for every 40 hours worked. The tasks and responsibilities are of a trainee level and may include, but are not limited to, a combination of the following:Â

• Work alongside a journeyman technician
• set up and take down equipment and furniture
• painting projects
• keep grounds neat and orderly through the process of weed removal, picking up brush and branches, remove snow and other hazards, etc.
• Dig ditches
• Perform minor repairs to various fixtures/buildings
• Other tasks as assigned
