Position: Sales Specialist
Location: Brighton, MI
Basic Purpose
This is a revenue generating function within the Sales organization that is tasked with closing business over the phone. Sales quota will be for consumables, meaning labels, ribbons, and inkjet supplies. This position moves opportunities through the sales process from leads to close using the phone skills; requiring getting to the point quickly, demonstrating an understanding of the prospect's challenges and asking open-ended questions that will build the application for Lowry’s printer supplies. The focus will be to reach out to prospects and customers.
Responsibilities And Duties
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to apply communication skills over the phone clearly and articulately. Highly proficient level computer skills including MS PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook. Should be experienced in CRM software solutions (Salesforce.com, Quotewerks). Prominent organization and presentation skills. Excellent time management skills. Highly energetic, self-starter with ability to multi-task. Must have the ability to repetitively overcome rejection from sales leads. Must be able to work in fast-paced, self-directed entrepreneurial environment. Must engage in continuing education to maintain up to date knowledge of available technology.
Education And Or Experience
Associate’s degree and at least 2 years sales experience; or equivalent education and experience. Experience with AIDC equipment and software, barcode and RFID labels and supplies strongly desired.

Responsibilities And Duties
- Learn the features, benefits, and applications to sell Lowry Solutions via telephone.
- Learn the buying signals from customers.
- Strive to reach quota, monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Generate opportunities through cold calling to Prospects.
- Qualify and follow up with sales leads.
- Accept inbound calls from prospects and assist with media solutions.
- Identify the decision maker within the accounts you are responsible for.
- Log all calls and actions into Salesforce.
- Increase order totals by upselling and cross selling with add on sales.
- Contact customers on a regular basis to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction.
- Resolve customer complaints in a timely manner.
- Set up customers on Managed Inventory Programs (Make and Hold, Blanket orders and Managed Inventory.)
- Must be team oriented, can manage time and meet professional goals.
- Always present a professional image to customers and co-workers.
- Stay up to date on industry knowledge of the industry as well as the competitive posture of the company and prepare activity and forecast reports as requested.
- Preform other duties as may be assigned.
