Job Summary
CNAs will provide high-quality nursing assistant care to eligible beneficiaries of the Department of Veterans Affairs in various settings, including inpatient units, outpatient clinics, and community living centers.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing assistant care that meets or exceeds national standards.
- Work effectively in a team environment to deliver quality patient care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
Requirements
- Current CNA license in any State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia.
- BLS or ACLS certification (AHA).
- Technical proficiency in skills necessary to fulfill government requirements, including speaking, understanding, reading, and writing English fluently.
- Completion of an accredited training course in nursing through the State of California.
- Two years of recent experience as a CNA.
Work Schedule
- Multiple shifts available, including daytime, evening, and night shifts.
