What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Director - Long Term Care position at Loyalhanna Care Center?
Loyalhanna Care Campus located in Latrobe, Pa and is looking for a Maintenence Director. We are looking for someone who has LTC experience and is familiar with the associated paperwork and Life Safety.
PURPOSE: The primary purpose of your job description is to plan, organize, develop, and direct the overall operation of the Maintenance Department in accordance with the current federal, state and local standards, guidelines, and regulations governing our campus, and as may be directed by the Administrator, to assure that our campus is maintained in a safe and comfortable manner.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Must possess, as a minimum, a high school education or its equivalent.
· Must have, as a minimum, three (3) years’ experience in a supervisory capacity, in a maintenance/plant related position.
· Must have knowledge of boilers, compressors, generators, etc., as well as various mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
· Must have the ability to read and interpret blueprints
· Must be knowledgeable in the building codes and safety regulations.
· Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $49,000.00 per year
