Compensation: $55,000 - $65,000

Profile:
Loyola Blakefield’s Admissions team seeks a dynamic, innovative, and goal-driven professional with a passion for discovering new and effective ways to market to prospective families and guide them through the enrollment process. The ideal candidate will have prior experience with private school admissions, particularly within Jesuit or Catholic educational settings. They will possess exceptional interpersonal, leadership, and organizational abilities, alongside outstanding oral and written communication skills, enabling them to engage effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Admissions Program Leadership
- Serve as a key member of the Enrollment Management Team.
- Lead the Blakefield Ambassadors Program, empowering student leaders to represent the school to prospective families.
- Oversee all aspects of the Shadow Day (“Don for a Day”) visitor program for upper school applicants, ensuring an engaging and seamless experience for prospective students.
Communication and Outreach
- Act as a visible representative of the school, serving as the first point of contact for prospective families.
- Host, organize, and present at admissions and enrollment events, including open houses, tours, and parent information sessions.
- Collaborate with the Marketing and Communications team to support newsletters, publications, and outreach campaigns.
Administrative and Data Management
- Maintain accurate admissions metrics, data, and records for year-over-year review and strategic planning.
- Coordinate the timely collection of transcripts and other application materials to ensure readiness for review by the Enrollment Management Team.
- Support all admissions testing, including the High School Placement Test (HSPT), Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE), and placement tests.
Collaboration and Support
- Interview and meet with prospective families and students, providing a welcoming and informative experience.
- Collaborate with faculty, staff, and coaches to align admissions efforts with the school’s academic and extracurricular offerings.
Qualifications
- Deep commitment to the values of Catholic, Jesuit education, with a dedication to ongoing spiritual and professional development.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution required,
- Superior communication/presentation skills
- Experience working in an educational environment, preferably in a Catholic school
- Knowledge of current independent school admissions practices
- Proficiency in database management and general computer skills.
Salary : $55,000 - $65,000
