Key Responsibilities
- Patient Management: Oversee and manage the care of OBGYN patients in outpatient settings, ensuring timely and efficient care delivery.
- Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to deliver holistic, patient-centered care.
- Clinical Procedures: Perform specialized invasive procedures in accordance with the scope of practice and certification.
- Treatment Planning: Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans based on patient outcomes and evolving care needs.
- Care Coordination: Facilitate patient transitions between service units, ensuring continuity of care.
- Patient & Family Education: Provide complex education to patients and their families, equipping them with the knowledge and resources needed for ongoing care.
Minimum Education:
- Required: Master's Degree
- Specify Degree(s): Physician Assistant or Advanced Practice Nurse
Minimum Experience
- Required: 3-5 years of previous job-related experience
- Preferred: 6-10 years of previous job-related experience
- Required:
- CPR – Basic Life Support
- Nursing – Current Registered Nurse License - State of Illinois
- Nursing – Nursing Practitioner License – State of Illinois
- Physician Assistant License
