What are the responsibilities and job description for the Temporary Accounting Clerk position at Lozano Smith, LLP?
This is a temporary, part-time position (24 hours/week). The primary responsibilities for this position include supporting our accounting team with financial tasks and general administrative duties. This position will assist with routine accounting functions, handle overflow work, and ensure timely processing of financial records.
This temporary part-time position is on-site and in office. This is estimated to last 3-6 months.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Associates degree in accounting or related field; or 5 years of general accounting office experience in lieu of education
- 3 years of experience in general accounting
- Experience in a law firm, legal department preferred
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to maintain a stationary position, operate computers and other office equipment, move about the office, and communicate. The employee is occasionally required to stand; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, and crouch. The employee must be able to accurately exchange information in person, in writing, via email, and telephone. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 35 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Normal law office environment with little exposure to excessive noise, dust, temperature and the like.
