Position Summary
The Tool & Die Journeyman will plan, layout, and perform all bench and machine operations to build, service, repair, and maintain the tools, dies and fixtures throughout the facility while maintaining Lozier’s quality and safety standards. Forklift operation may also be required. The Journeyman also provides instruction to apprentices and trainees. Appropriate personal protective equipment must also be worn for this position.

Experience: Four years of previous tool & die experience is required.

Essential Job Functions

- Rebuild dies and fixtures.
- Operation of a variety of hand and powered tools including, but not limited to, surface grinders, milling machines, lathes, drill presses, belt sanders, saws, hoists, clamps, and measuring tools is necessary for this position.
- Constant hand usage.
- Frequent standing and reaching.
- Occasional walking, lifting, carrying, pushing/pulling, and elevated reaching.

- 1st shift: $29.37
- 2nd shift: $32.54
- 3rd shift: $32.25
- $1,000 bonus after completion of 90 days of employment (subject to taxes), applicable to new hires only.
