Job Purpose
To lead operations in the shipping department
In This Position You Will Have The Opportunity To
- Complete daily warehouse inventory
- Completes packaging/finished goods inventory
- Oversees T&G, TechShield and shipping processes
- Login/release railcars
- Oversees downtime events for T&G and TechShield lines
- Prepares and completed monthly product inventory
- Tag for Tag inventory for finished products
- Response to mill forklift needs
- Completes work requests for T&G, TechShield and shipping department
- Trains employees on equipment operation in shipping department
- Perform other duties as necessary.
- Perform all duties in accordance with safety rules and regulations.
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
- Knowledge of multiple complex equipment operation.
- Knowledge of equipment maintenance.
- Time management and multi-tasking skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated mechanical ability.
- Demonstrated ability to operate multiple pieces of equipment.
- Ability to read and understand safety rules and regulations.
- Must possess a valid driver's license
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
- 3 – 5 years’ experience in equipment operation.
- Or any equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the key responsibilities of this position.
