- Prepare sushi boxes and customer orders
- Set up and break down the sushi bar station
- Keep a clean, organized workstation
- Prep ingredients, including breaking down and portioning tuna, hamachi, and salmon
- Make precise cuts of fish loins and fillets for sushi
- Assist the Executive Sushi Chef as needed
- Plate and present dishes with care and precision
- Maintain sushi inventory and storage
- Follow NYC health department codes
- Interact with guests in a professional, friendly manner
- Communicate effectively and collaborate with the team
- 1 years of experience in a sushi bar setting
- Excellent knife skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Willingness to learn from the Chef and develop your skills
- Availability to work nights and weekends
Salary : $10 - $20
