Entry Level Interior Designer

to join our integrated team of architects, engineers, interior designers, landscape architects and master planners. Our Education studio is committed to creating engaging environments that put 21st century skills at the center of learning. We have completed projects such as Environmental Nature Center Preschool, Tarbut V'Torah and Eastvale STEM Academy. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with our in-house multidisciplinary teams including engineering, landscape and interiors. We work primarily on education projects Southern California.

What you will do :

Participate in the integrated design process with other disciplines at LPAAssist Design Coordinators and Project Leaders in the execution of specific assignmentsPrepare presentations and documentation for schematic design, design development, and construction documentsAssist in research for product and construction methods related to projectsReview and process construction administration documentsAttend construction meetings and field visits to further understand detailing and coordinationWhat we will do :

Provide mentorship from Managing Directors and Design Directors as well as other in-house disciplines on all projectsProvide career growth opportunities including licensure materials and financial incentives, professional development grants and our professional development processEducation opportunities including LPA U, LPA Tech Talks and Lunch and LearnsRequirements :

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture0-2 years of experience in all phases of Interior Design projectsExperience with Revit, Rhino and Adobe Creative Suite is preferredEnthusiastic commitment to the multidisciplinary design process and team environmentEffective written and verbal communication skillsCommitted to building a long-term professional career

The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 and is eligible for annual bonus. If you are hired at LPA, your base salary is based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, experience and / or project complexity.
