LPA Retail Systems is a growing, industry leading point-of-sale and IT provider located in Burnsville, MN. We are an NCR Voyix Partner and specialize in the Counterpoint Retail Point-of-sale application along with the IT infrastructure it requires.
This is a full-time, sales and marketing position fit for someone who has a great work ethic, is competitive by nature, and is unafraid to hear “no”. You’ll be tasked with finding prospects and setting up discovery calls and demos. You’ll be making A LOT of outbound calls, craft email campaigns, research prospects, post on social media, all in service of bringing us good prospects.
This position will report directly to the President of LPA and will work alongside the existing sales and marketing team. To be successful in this role, you should be hungry and money-motivated, have great time management skills, have an outgoing personality, and the ability to work with a team and independently.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Make around 100 outbound calls/day.
- Help create and follow up on quotes for new clients
- Help answer client questions about products and services
- Assist scheduling customer facing meetings/calls & take detailed notes during those calls
- Help track and complete customer follow ups
- Assist the sales, marketing, and finance teams (content creation, email marketing, social media management, website management)
- Create and design customer facing demos for Counterpoint point-of-sale or other products/services
- Successfully track conversion rates of marketing efforts
Requirements/ Personal Attributes Include:
- At least one year of sales or customer service experience
- Bachelor's degree in sales or marketing (not mandatory but is a plus)
- Experience with IT or point-of-sale solutions is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A team player with a go getter, positive attitude
- Ability to travel on occasion
- Reliable transportation
- Self-motivated
Rocks:
- Schedule 4 point-of-sale demos a month
- Post at least twice weekly on social media platforms
- Send out 1-2 emails monthly to existing clients & prospects
Typical Hours: 8 am - 5:15 CST Monday - Friday
