Job Overview:
LPL Financial is seeking an Associate Business Analyst to assist in the Maintenance of platforms and practices to support the optimization and enhancement of the suite of brokerage processing solutions for Cash Management Operations (CMO).
This position will report directly to the AVP of Cash Management Business Solutions and participate in large firm projects involving processes and technologies directly and indirectly impacting CMO. This individual will have a key role in analyzing the backlog of CMO solution opportunities and their priority on behalf of the business, in alignment with the Operations Transformation Strategy and the goal of delivering a differentiated service experience to our clients.
Responsibilities:
$20.23-$33.71/hour
Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location. Responsibilities:
- Provide assistance for CMO with assessing areas of improvement and identifying solutions for the transformation of current business functions.
- Build an understanding of the significant control needs within the CMO functions.
- Provide an active role in testing of the money movement technology and process enhancement.
- Drive troubleshooting and assist with resolving escalated production issues.
- Provide recommendations to leadership on potential policy and procedure (P&P) enhancements, as well as the execution of review and establishment of P&P’s and workflows.
- Foster transparency within the team and with leadership through timely communication with status updates and project overviews.
- Communicate with release leads and leadership as needed to define testing requirements.
- 2 year professional experience in financial services
- 2 year business analysis (or similar) and/or process improvement experience
- Strong communication skills across lines of business.
- Excellent collaboration, verbal/written communication and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated passion for execution excellence and agility.
- Adaptable and highly self-motivated in pursuing intelligent automation and emerging technologies.
- Change Agent, able to define the future state and assist with implementing change as necessary.
- Skilled in client service and dedicated to providing a high-quality client experience.
- Ability to effectively comprehend and interact with the full spectrum of disciplines necessary through the development lifecycle.
- Strong execution ability and a sense of urgency.
- Creative, flexible and an experienced practitioner.
- Certified Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt or higher or willingness to obtain
- Experience with business systems analysis or business process design experience or a combination of both
