*MUST HAVE PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IN THE SECURITIES INDUSTRY INCLUDING IRA ACCOUNTS, STOCKS, BONDS, FINRA REGULATIONS.
Our firm is seeking an experienced financial advisor assistant to join us and help service and continue to grow our client base in the San Diego area. As a financial advisor assistant, you will also work side by side with an experienced financial advisor to help clients meeting their financial goals.
Responsibilities
- Assist financial advisor with daily activities, including maintaining calendars, preparing correspondence, and providing customer service, opening new accounts, processing client requests.
Required
*Ability to perform all the basic duties above, efficiently and effectively
*At least 2 years experience with a broker/dealer in investment products such as stocks, bonds, insurance.
*Must have knowledge of retirement accounts, required minimum distribution requirements, basic knowledge of the equity markets and fixed income markets, opening new accounts, transferring of funds.
*Must be detail oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment
*Must be committed to providing exceptional customer service
*Must have a high degree of comfort managing multiple tasks simultaneously
*Must have a strong character and positive attitude
*Must be proficient with Microsoft Office – especially Excel
*Professional attire and appearance
REQUIRED:

Job Type: Full time 30-40 hours per week
- Greet clients upon arrival
- Interact with clients in person and over phone
- Prepare and review new account paperwork
- Facilitate and resolve client service request
- Apply a working knowledge of operations/client-service processes
- Work independently, effectively, and efficiently
- Ensure paperwork is prepared and provided for all client meetings
- Handle confidential and/or sensitive information responsibly
- Perform other duties assigned
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
