Job Overview :
We are looking for talented and experienced Software Engineers to be part of data engineering team responsible for Investor Experience system modernization initiative. This initiative has the potential to positively impact ~2M user base. This position involves collaboration with Business Partners, Architects, Quality Assurance, Release Management, and the Change Control board to plan, design, develop and implement solutions for the business needs. The data engineering team is responsible for providing highest quality of data to its consumers at scale and the candidate is expected to have hands-on experience and will be working with a motivated team in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities :
Hands on coding, lead and inspire a dedicated team of onshore and offshore developers to architect, build, deploy and support best-in-class software solutions for internal and external customers.
Leverage technical expertise and latest tech stack to implement software development best practices. Implement application resiliency, scalability and performance design.
Collaborate across business units, technology and product teams to build and deliver business values.
Work actively with quality assurance engineer teams, Release Management, DevOps to ensure all SDLC processes are adhered to.
Develop technical documentation to define the system components and workflows.
Oversee and participate in day-to-day activities of POD using Agile / Scrum methodology.

Requirements :
8 years of professional software development experience in building API’s and Services with C#, Python and SQL.
5 years of software development experience with AWS platform - Glue, EKS, S3, NoSQL database, Postgres, API Gateway & Kafka. As well as, 3 years of working with Docker and Kubernetes.
5 years of hands-on experience in SQL procedures, views, indexes and performance tuning.
5 years of expertise with Source Control such as GIT, Bitbucket or TFS. CI / CD experience with TeamCity / Octopus / Jenkins / Jules.
3 years of financial services / brokerage firm experience required
Core Competencies :
C#, Python, AWS & SQL development experience
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Knowledge in designing, refactoring, and unit testing
Experience with Waterfall and Agile development process
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferences :
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or a related field
Familiar with external facing platforms is a plus.
Familiar with event sourcing architecture
AWS Certification for developer and / or Solution Architect associate.
Excellent knowledge of OOP concepts, data modeling design patterns / frameworks
Pay Range :
140,475-$234,125 / yearActual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
