Job Overview:
The Senior Analyst, Advisory Platforms Strategy will help support the strategic planning process across all areas of the firm's product portfolio and platform strategy. This individual will be responsible for working closely with senior leadership and various cross functional teams throughout the organization including Sales & Marketing, Technology, Operations, Product Management, Investments, Finance, Legal/Compliance, Regulatory Affairs, and Business Development. The senior analyst will be responsible for researching competitor advisory platforms, and curating and maintaining a library of competitive advisory platforms and industry trends. The role requires strong analytical skills as well as the ability to develop complex presentations and communicate recommendations clearly and concisely to management. A successful candidate will be intellectually curious, demonstrate strategic and creative thinking skills, a strong research ability, and the ability to communicate effectively across teams and working groups.

$90,800.00 - $151,300.00
Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location. - Support the development of long term strategies and annual operating plans for key products within the wealth management industry
- Assist with the preparation of regular updates to the firm’s executive team on performance against key initiatives and milestones
- Work directly with internal and external stakeholders to gather information and conduct analysis related to new product launches, existing product enhancements, and other business opportunities
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and opportunities within the wealth management space
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting on key metrics relevant to the firm’s strategic objectives
- Maintain competitive intelligence on key wealth management competitors’ advisory platforms
- Contribute to the creation of LPL’s advisory platform strategy
- Synthesize internal and industry data into themes and patterns to provide insights to key stakeholders across the firm
- Create presentations illustrating LPL’s advisory platforms strategy
- Complete ad hoc assignments that assist in the development of LPL’s advisory platform strategy and initiatives
- Own the monthly and quarterly advisory platforms reporting to key internal forums and groups
- Maintain a strong knowledge base of LPL’s advisory platforms, key developments, and key

Requirements:
- 5 years industry experience
- BA/MBA degree
- Strong knowledge of financial markets and products, particularly fee based advisory platforms and wealth management technology
- Strong Microsoft PowerPoint skills
- Ability to synthesize large amounts of information into clear and concise communications for both internal and external audiences
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management
- Highly organized with attention to detail and deadlines
- Self-starter who works independently but also has the ability to collaborate and influence others at all levels of the organization
- Exceptional problem solving and critical thinking skills
