Job Overview :
LPL’s Liquidity & Capital Business Development team is an innovative, entrepreneurial, high-performing team tasked with leading advisor engagement and education for the Liquidity & Capital program. The role will support the team’s growth through generating new acquisition opportunities, building trust with acquisition targets, articulating LPL’s value proposition as compared to marketplace competitors, and participating in the development of LPL’s strategy by sharing key learnings and observation learned through participation in the marketplace.
In this role you will become an expert on LPL’s Liquidity & Capital program and wealth management industry M&A.
Responsibilities :
Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of acquisition opportunities.
Ensure an exemplary advisor experience by coordinating with internal partners through discussion, demonstration, and leading by example to meet and exceed advisor expectations; acute focus on adhering to and enhancing the Liquidity & Capital advisor experience playbook.
Actively monitor and analyze emerging trends, developments and players across the industry landscape, to inform the company’s view of opportunities and approach to innovation.
Build strong relationships and collaborate with internal business partners throughout the sales process.

Requirements :
7 years of Sales experience working within the independent wealth management industry
This is a West Coast based role, the preferred candidate will be located near LPL’s corporate office in San Diego, CA, or with easy access via short drive or flight
Core Competencies :
Self-starter with a demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize workload in a fast-paced, changing environment
Exemplary communications skills, with the confidence to effectively present complex topics to acquisition targets, as well as senior internal leadership, in a clear and actionable manner
Preferences : FINRA licensed
Familiarity with existing investors in the wealth management space (including aggregator models, private equity firms, and banks) preferred
Pay Range :
235,100.00-$391,900.00 / yearThe pay salary range is inclusive of base salary and potential sales incentive compensation based upon the applicable incentive compensation plan for this position. Base salary is determined on several factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location. Incentive compensation is dependent on achievement of goals set forth in the incentive compensation plan.
