The VP of Learning & Development is a strategic, forward-thinking leader responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive learning strategy that supports our service center operations and aligns with the firm’s business objectives. This role will lead a team of instructional designers, facilitators, and learning leaders to design, deliver, and optimize training programs that enhance employee capability, engagement, and retention. The ideal candidate is a visionary L&D executive with a strong business mindset , expertise in talent development , and a passion for innovation in learning.
Responsibilities :
Strategic Leadership & Organizational Impact
Develop and execute a learning and development strategy that aligns with business goals, regulatory requirements, and operational excellence in the call center.
Lead and develop a high-performing L&D team consisting of the Manager of Instructional Design, Manager of Facilitation, Training Facilitators, and Instructional Designers .
Drive a culture of continuous learning, performance improvement, and leadership development across the organization.
Partner with executive leadership, HR, and operational leaders to identify learning needs and implement scalable solutions that improve employee performance.
Align learning initiatives with customer experience goals , ensuring training drives measurable improvements in client interactions.
Program Development & Execution
Oversee the design, implementation, and continuous enhancement of training programs, including new hire onboarding, compliance training, product knowledge, leadership development, and customer service excellence .
Ensure training solutions leverage modern instructional design principles, technology, and adult learning best practices .
Champion the use of AI, gamification, virtual learning, and digital platforms to create engaging and effective learning experiences.
Establish L&D governance frameworks , ensuring all learning programs are standardized, high-quality, and aligned with regulatory guidelines.
Talent Development & Leadership Coaching
Develop and implement leadership training programs to build a pipeline of future leaders within the call center and beyond.
Drive coaching and mentorship initiatives that empower employees and enhance career progression.
Cultivate a learning culture where continuous skill-building and knowledge sharing are core to the company’s success.
Data-Driven Decision Making & Performance Measurement
Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness and ROI of learning programs.
Leverage data analytics, employee feedback, and business performance metrics to refine training strategies.
Collaborate with HR and Operations to assess the impact of training on employee retention, productivity, and customer satisfaction scores .

Qualifications :
Education : Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Learning & Development, Organizational Psychology, Business, Education, or a related field .
Experience : 10 years of leadership experience in corporate learning, talent development, or instructional design , with a focus on call center or financial services training .
Industry Knowledge : Experience in wealth management, financial services, or regulated industries preferred.
Certifications : ATD Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD), Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), or equivalent is a plus.

Pay Range :
121,425-$202,375 / yearActual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
