Barista/Food Prep/Cashier

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of coffee beverages, assisting with food preparation, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our customers. Strong time management skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages, teas, and other menu items according to established recipes and standards.
• Assist with food preparation, ensuring all items are fresh and presented attractively.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
• Operate the POS system efficiently, processing transactions and handling cash accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, including equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
• Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours.
• Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and enhance overall customer experience.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or retail is preferred but not required.
• Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques is a plus.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing cash flow.
• Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is advantageous.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment.
• A friendly demeanor with strong communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $19.00 per hour
