Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated hands on Assistant Manager at the cafe/bakery to join our team in a bakery/cafe. The ideal candidate will possess strong cash handling skills, food prep skills,excellent organizational abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As an assistant manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing daily operations, managing team performance, and ensuring a smooth checkout experience for our customers and food prepped accordingly.

Duties

• Supervise and train staff to ensure efficient operations and adherence to company policies.
• Handle transactions accurately and efficiently while maintaining proper cash drawer management.
• Assist in payroll processing for cashier staff, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
• Monitor pricing accuracy and assist with price adjustments as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area to enhance the customer experience.

• Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during the checkout process.
• Collaborate with management to implement sales promotions and improve retail sales strategies.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a cafe/grocery store or retail sales environment is preferred.
• Excellent administrative skills with the ability to manage payroll processes effectively.
• Cafe/bakery expirience is a plus
• Ability train and manage people, take leadership
• Proven organizational skills to maintain an efficient workflow
• Experience in team management, fostering a positive work environment for staff.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
