Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, ensuring efficient dispatching, and implementing process improvements to optimize supply chain management. This role requires strong leadership skills to supervise warehouse staff and maintain a safe and productive work environment.
Duties
- Supervise daily warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, and inventory control.
- Manage the dispatching process to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Oversee supply chain management activities to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Implement process improvement initiatives to streamline operations and increase productivity.
- Collaborate with third-party logistics (3PL) providers to manage transportation and distribution effectively.
- Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular audits to maintain accuracy in inventory management.
- Analyze profit and loss statements related to warehouse operations to identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies within the warehouse environment.
Experience
- Proven experience in warehouse management or a related field is essential.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices.
- Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS) is preferred.
- Experience in process improvement methodologies is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability in supervising teams and managing staff performance effectively.
- Proficiency in inventory control systems and practices is required.
