LSG is an impact agency specializing in brand building, corporate reputation management, and public affairs. We're seeking an experienced, high-energy senior vice president to help drive our Houston operations, execute our business plan, and deliver exceptional results for our clients. This role requires someone with a genuine, charismatic presence who can command attention in pitches and networking situations while delivering substance behind the style. You'll need to manage complex client relationships, build our Texas market presence, and operationalize our strategic vision.
This role reports to LSG’s Managing Director.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and operationalize our Texas business strategy
- Manage and mentor team members, fostering a culture of creativity and accountability
- Drive new business development
- Build relationships with key Houston business leaders and potential clients
- Oversee complex client accounts, ensuring exceptional service delivery
- Develop compelling proposals, presentations, and client communications
- Travel as needed to service clients across Texas and beyond
Required Qualifications
- 12-15 years of relevant experience
- Proven agency experience with demonstrated strategic capabilities
- Exceptional presentation and public speaking abilities that capture attention
- Established track record managing large, complex client accounts
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Strong writing skills across various formats
- Comfort with regular work travel
- General understanding of energy, manufacturing, and petrochemical industries
- Demonstrated managerial experience
- Ability to work in office four days per week
Nice to Have
- Experience across both digital and traditional advertising channels
- Established connections within the Houston business community
- Familiarity with Texas state and local government
- Capitol Hill or Washington, DC experience
- Fluent in Spanish
