The Senior Vice President, Programs is responsible for the overall leadership, strategic planning, development, and execution of assigned programs at Catholic Charities. In collaboration with the senior leadership team, the Senior Vice President is responsible for establishing a strategic vision and guiding philosophy that will inform short and long-term goals of programs, drive new programs, and carefully monitor the progress towards those efforts.
This is a great opportunity for a leader that can balance self-direction and collaboration, with strong program implementation and administration abilities, human / social services background, and financial and relationship acumen.

Leadership
- Promote and participate in fostering open-mindedness and a culture of learning – including learning and evaluation activities to guide the evolution of programmatic work – seeking to continually ask hard questions, gather independent and rigorous data and evidence about the effectiveness of the strategies and programming, and help adapt practice as needed.
- Value diversity, equity, and inclusion approaches in leading a client-focused high-performance team that constantly strives to improve its services to internal and external partners.
- Communicate a compelling vision based on Catholic Charities’ mission and organizational values.
- Develop a team-based environment for staff, providing for development, collaboration, and well-informed decision-making; ensure that staff have a safe environment in which to thrive.
- Strengthen and maintain the management and governance culture and practices of the organization.
- Promote clear communication and collaboration between all programs throughout the organization to ensure succinct progress toward current goals.

Qualifications
The Expertise We're Looking For
Master’s degree in social services, public administration, or related field
Ten (10) years of experience in a social and human services organization
Five (5) years of experience in a senior management role over multiple programs
Valid Texas Driver’s License
